Academics

Site - Lawton

South Shepler Building

In November of 2003, the first classes were held at the Lawton site (located on the campus of Cameron University), in Lawton, Oklahoma.  It took the remainder of the 2003-2004 academic year to gain major program interest. As of the fall of 2005, the Lawton Campus has been thriving.  It is currently houses the largest student population within the WOSC Nursing Program. Located on the sixth floor of South Shepler Building, the Lawton site provides three classrooms, a skills lab, a simulation lab, student lounge/study area and offices for full-time employees. This new space will be freshly renovated and updated as of July 2023.

Along with providing a learning site that reduces commute time and fuel consumption, Lawton students are able to take advantage of all that Cameron University has to offer (ie., computer labs, Center for Writers, a wide range of Student Activities, and much more).
