President's Partners Description

WESTERN OKLAHOMA STATE COLLEGE FOUNDATION, INC.
President's Partners Program

Background
The President's Partners of Western Oklahoma State College is comprised of individuals, businesses and organizations that provide financial support above and beyond operational funding provided to the college by the Oklahoma Legislature.

Purpose
These funds are used to provide educational opportunities to enhance the student learning experience at WOSC. The President's Partners Program will provide necessary funding for a variety of purposes including scholarships, program funding, promotions, student and faculty recruitment, facility improvements, and initial funding for endowments and endowment development.

General Information
Each President's Partner pledges an annual contribution to the WOSC Foundation, Inc of at least $1,000 to support college programs. Contributions will be deposited in the President's Partners Operating Fund with twenty-five percent (25%) of the funds deposited in the President's Partners Scholarship Endowment. The President's Partners Operating Fund will serve as an unrestricted fund for the sole purpose of providing funding as outlined above. The President's Partners Scholarship Endowment will serve as a permanent endowment to provide scholarship funding to enhance the Western Oklahoma State College Foundation, Inc. annual scholarship program. The interest earned annually will be utilized for scholarship funding. Ten (10%) percent of the annual interest earned will be deposited back to the endowment to increase and maintain stability and growth in the endowment fund. This formula will allow an annual expenditure of seventy-five (75%) percent of the total contributions received to be utilized for annual program funding purposes.
