Information Technology and Computer / Network Use Policy

As an institution of higher learning, Western Oklahoma State College encourages, supports, and protects freedom of expression and an open environment to pursue scholarly inquiry and to share information. Access to networked computer information in general and to the Internet, in particular, supports the academic community by providing a link to electronic information in a variety of formats and covering all academic disciplines.

Students are expected to access and use the information technology infrastructure responsibly, following relevant federal and state laws and policies of the institution. Failure to comply with Acceptable Use policy may result in a loss of network/computer privileges.
