Advice to HS students wanting to attend college:

Get involved on campus! Joining different clubs and organizations provides a good school-life balance. Plus, it's a great opportunity to make friends and interact with other students outside of classes.

Why did you choose the agriculture field to study?

I've always had a passion for animals as a child, and with the need of veterinarians in Oklahoma, it was the perfect choice for me. Being a Hispanic that's pursuing this career gives more representation and encouragement to students of different races and nationalities wanting to expand their education.
