Baseball and Softball Graduates Recognized for their Achievements

Western Oklahoma State College is pleased to announce a special recognition ceremony held in honor of student-athlete graduates who often face the unique challenge of balancing commencement ceremonies with their participation in regional baseball and softball tournaments. This year, to ensure these dedicated individuals did not miss out on celebrating their academic achievements, WOSC hosted a mini-recognition ceremony after the final home games.

The ceremony, which took place on the home fields, was a memorable event attended by peers, coaches, families, and fans. It provided a heartfelt platform to celebrate the accomplishments of these student-athletes in an environment that honored both their academic and athletic commitments.

"Celebrating the accomplishments of these student-athletes on their home fields in front of friends, family, and fans was one of the highlights of my year. We appreciate all they do to represent Western," said Dr. Chad Wiginton, President of Western Oklahoma State College.

Their dedication to both their sports and their studies exemplifies the true spirit of a Pioneer, and we are immensely proud of their achievements.
